In Loving Memory of Shasta November 18 2011 – October 27, 2025 Shasta was just shy of 14 wonderful years old, and every one of those years was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He brought endless joy to his family and to everyone lucky enough to know him. Shasta had a heart as big as his personality — always close by, following you from room to room, keeping your feet warm by sitting on them, and making sure no sandwich was ever left unattended. At the cottage, he waited eagerly (and not so patiently) by the door for his breakfast, his excitement a daily reminder of life’s simple joys. Even in his final days, Shasta’s playful spirit shone bright — proudly trotting across the basement with his nose stuck in his favourite box of cookies, still making his family laugh as he always did. Shasta will never be forgotten. His paw prints are forever etched in our hearts, and his little brother will always miss his loyal companion. Forever loved. Forever missed. Run free, sweet Shasta.
